Actually it's just a written test of one hour held in the KEA premises, Bangalore with about 8 questions. You have to translate (any five) words from English to Kannada and vice versa; match columns of words with similar meanings; correct the construction of (any five) words; correct sentences; answer questions of general knowledge and current affairs and write an essay on any one of the given topics in 8-10 sentences... all this in Kannada (of course!)
It's actually very easy and not something to be much worried about. I hope it helps future aspirants to clear the elusive KCET...
